‘Spring In The City’ - an annual Cultural, Arts and Travel Fair has always been held during the Lunar New Year festive season so as to enhance the joyous festive mood and promote cultural exchange and travel business between China and Singapore.  Through the beautiful folk songs and dances, traditional arts and crafts and many value-added tour packages, these promotions were widely received by local people and foreign visitors.

It has successfully entered into the 18th year.  Over the years, we have continuously gained strong support from the government, as well as encouragement from tourism partners, customers and friends for organizing such cultural exchanges.  As we accumulate experience and knowledge, expectation from the public also escalates.  The present achievement is only the start of a tougher expedition as we strive to showcase the richness of this thousand-year-old land through the appreciation of live demonstration of its authentic arts and crafts, vibrant displays of dances and songs, and introduction of the abundant tourism resources in China.  Together with our strategic partners will certainly enhance and add sparks to the coming fair. 

The month-long fair also offers an array of captivating performances that suit people of all ages.  Besides the enthralling dances, we would be more than 30 Chinese craftsmen to perform daily at the fair.  The finesse workmanship of these skilful craftsmen in various arts and crafts is second to none.  It would be a refreshing experience to watch so many craftsmen at work.

In addition, there will be few Charity Concerts performed by invited Arts Troupe at NUS Cultural Centre and all proceeds from the performances will be donated to the some of the local charity organisations.
